Project Activity & Communication

Add Transmittal to Project

  1. Navigate to “Projects”
  1. Select the project you want to edit from the project list
  1. Click “Add Transmittal” next to the “Transmittals” heading
  1. Use “Import template data…” to populate fields from a template, or otherwise, complete all applicable fields manually
  1. Comments entered here appear on the transmittal document, not in the transmittal email

There are two options for attaching documents to transmittals:
ERP Documents:
An ERP document is stored within Stackd and carries more authentication than an Other Document.
Other Documents:
Other Documents are manually attached and may only be associated with the project through a single transmittal.
 
  1. Click “Save Changes” to create a draft transmittal
  1. Preview the transmittal email, document, and attachments
  1. Optionally, send the draft transmittal to another Stackd user for review

  1. Review the transmittal and click “Send Emails”
ℹ️
Both draft and completed documents can be transmitted.
You will have the ability to view the transmittal PDF after transmitting.
💡
A copy of the transmittal email is automatically sent to the author.

Add Design Review to Project

  1. Navigate to “Projects”
  1. Select the project you want to edit from the project list
  1. Click “Add Design Review” next to the “Design Reviews” heading
  1. Select a Reviewer from the dropdown, Select a “Due At” date, enter a title and comments, optionally CC additional users for awareness, and upload PDF file(s)
  1. Click “Save Changes”
  1. To complete select the Design Review and click “Complete Design Review” from the slide-over panel

When a design review is created it appears in the senders Outbox and the reviewers Inbox in the
Collaboration Hub
and on
Your Dashboard
. Email notifications are sent to the reviewer and all CC’d users.

Add Task to Project

  1. Navigate to “Projects”
  1. Select the project you want to edit from the project list
  1. Click “Add Task” next to the “Tasks” heading
  1. Select the applicable phase, assign to a user, set a “Due At” date, indicate priority, provide a title, and optional description, attach image(s) or PDF(s) as needed
💡
Assigning a task to another user adds it to their
Your Tasks
list.
  1. Click “Save Changes”
ℹ️
When a task is created it appears in the assignee’s
Your Dashboard
and in the assignor’s Outbox in
Collaboration Hub
. Email notifications are sent on creation, past-due reminders are sent daily, and the assignor is notified upon completion.

Add Milestone to Project

  1. Navigate to “Projects”
  1. Select the project you want to edit from the project list
  1. Click “Add Milestone” next to the “Milestones” heading
  1. Select the applicable project phase and submission date
  1. Assign the milestone to one or more users
  1. Provide a title and optional description

Assigning a milestone to another user adds it to their
Your Milestones
list.
  1. Click “Save Changes”
ℹ️
When a milestone is created, it appears in the assignee’s
Your Dashboard
and in the
Collaboration Hub
. Email notifications are sent upon creation, update, and completion.

Project Deficiencies

ℹ️
To add deficiencies to a project, complete a Field Review, see To Create a Field Review
  1. Navigate to “Projects”
  1. Select the project you want to edit from the project list
  1. To close a deficiency for a project, select the applicable deficiency row

  1. In the slide-over panel, enter any comments or attachments and click “Close Deficiency”

Add Meeting to Project

  1. Navigate to “Projects”
  1. Select the project you want to edit from the project list
  1. Click “Add Meeting” next to the “Meetings” heading
  1. Complete all required fields

To view all meetings on the account and additional options, see

  1. Click “Save Changes”
