New Document: Deficiencies Report

You can now generate a PDF report of all outstanding project deficiencies directly from the project page.
A Deficiencies Report provides a clear, shareable summary of open deficiencies, making it easier to keep clients informed, track outstanding work, and ensure nothing is overlooked.
To generate a report, click the orange Deficiencies Report button beside the deficiencies list on any project page.
 

Improved Document Recovery

We've enhanced document recovery to help prevent lost work when editing project documents.
If Stackd detects unsaved changes, you'll now have access to Recovery Snapshots the next time you open the document. Simply scroll to the bottom of the page, select More Actions → Recovery Snapshots, and restore a recent version to continue where you left off.
It's a simple improvement that makes it easier to recover unsaved work without having to recreate lost content.
 

Subconsultant Invoicing

Subconsultant invoices now follow the same billing workflow as expenses. They are automatically included in the Current Billed total when updating from Time & Expense, and can be linked to proposal items so you can easily choose whether to include them on an invoice. 
 

Quality of Life Improvements:

Here is a list of recent smaller changes that aim to make Stackd easier to use:
  • Project pages now have a timer
    • notion image
    • Start it, navigate away, and it keeps running (up to 12 hours).
    • Stop it and you'll land on your timesheet with the nearest 15-minute increment pre-filled
     
  • Attach Project Files to Documents: You can now attach files from your project's Uploaded Files section to letters and documents. Attached files appear as clickable links in the generated PDF.
 
  • Project Billing Navigation
    • The Project Billing button now opens the Billing Overview in the current tab. Use Ctrl + Click to open the project's billing screen in a new tab with the project filter applied.
 
  • Reply to Design Reviews: You can now reply to Design Reviews directly from Collab Hub or the project page. Select More Actions → Mark as Reviewed and Reply to upload your comments and/or response file.
  • Disable auto-generation of invoice numbers in settings
  • Project Billing Improvements: Billing totals are now organized into consistent categories (Time, Expenses, and Subconsultants) across the Project Billing page, Billing Overview, and dashboard widgets. We've also corrected GST calculations, added a Refresh Totals button, , and introduced a Remaining Amount column for better visibility.
